High above the Moselle, on a wooded plateau among the vineyards near Leiwen, lies Landal Sonnenberg. The park map shows a large layout of the park with several kinds of accommodation: bungalows for 2 to 10 guests, a kids' bungalow, an accessible bungalow, an apartment and mobile homes for 6 guests. The facilities are extensive. The indoor pool has a lazy river, a children's slide and a toddler pool, and the indoor play paradise has a climbing wall. Outside there are a playground, trampolines, an air trampoline, a children's farm, mini golf, beach volleyball and a climbing forest (fee required). There is also a bowling alley, an arcade, a grand café, a snack bar, a supermarket and massage. Tip on the location of accommodations and facilities: check the site plan to see which bungalows are near the pool and play paradise, or choose a spot with a view over the Moselle valley. Nearby you can hike the Moselsteig trail, cycle along the Moselle and visit wine villages, Trier or Bernkastel-Kues.
